Privacy policy
How name inputs differ from advertising and hosting data processing.
1. Inputs and calculation
The surname, given name, selected Hanja, Korean readings, ancestral seat, and counts are processed in the browser. The app has no feature that submits or saves these inputs or results to a calculation server or account database. They are not placed in URL queries or sharing links. Reloading resets the reading.
2. Dictionary and clipboard
The bundled dictionary is downloaded from this site. Copy reading places text including the name and interpretation in your device clipboard. The site does not automatically send it to another person; any later sharing is your choice.
3. Advertising and third parties
Some pages include Google AdSense code. When advertising is requested or displayed, Google and relevant advertising partners may process cookies or identifiers, IP addresses, browser and device information, and page or advertising interactions. The absence of app-side input storage does not mean that advertising providers perform no processing. Review their policies and any consent messages presented.
4. Advertising choices and analytics
Advertising storage and personalization consent defaults to denied. Where Google’s consent message is provided, its choices are reflected; a footer button can reopen it when the provider makes that function available. This site does not add separate Google Analytics or session-recording code. A local button is not used to invent or replace advertising consent.
5. Hosting, fonts, and external links
Cloudflare may process routine connection information, such as an IP address and request time, to deliver and secure the site. Fonts may be downloaded through Google Fonts. Following historical-source or provider links takes you to services with their own policies. Third-party retention and international processing depend on the relevant service.
6. Retention, choices, and contact
There is no app-side server retention period for name or reading records because the app does not store them. If you email the service, the message and reply address are used to handle your inquiry; material no longer needed is removed when appropriate. You can revisit available advertising choices and manage browser cookies. Privacy inquiries can be sent to the email on the contact page.
